Log off limitation with Windows® XP to 2.05 version

Help | Log off limitation with Windows® XP to 2.05 version

If you remotely control a relation and use the fast user switching.
and you need to log off the active relation, it is not possible to log off using the Start/User Log Off function.
This would make it impossible to control remotely the computer.

This problem is dealt with using a new technology in the updated version 2.05.

The log off can be done in two ways:
  1. Using the Task Administrator
    1. Using the Full Control service connect to the remote computer
    2. Switch to another user
    3. Connect to this relation
    4. Run the Task Administrator from the main panel, right-click on an empty space on the main panel and then click on the Task Administrator command
    5. In the Task Administrator click on the Users tab
    6. Right-click on the user you want to log off and click on the Log Off command
  2. Using the Computer Shutdown service
    1. Use the service to connect to the remote computer
    2. Select Log Off User on Remote Computer
    3. Use the user you want to log off and click on the OK command

If you have already logged the active user off using the Start/User Log Off function, there are the following options for remote control of the computer again:
  • Using a remote operator:
    • Log on or switch to another user and remotely connect to this relation
  • Remotely:
    • Using the Computer Shutdown service restart the remote computer
